Undergraduate Students
If you are interested in completing an independent study (ECOL 4960) in the FAB Lab, please email Dr. Fadum (jfadum[at]uga[dot]edu). Please include "ECOL 4960" in the subject line of your email and include your resume/CV and a short description of your research interests. Prior research experience is not required- just bring your interests, positive attitude and effort and you can learn the rest!
Graduate Students
At the moment, we are not actively recruiting new lab members. However, this may change as new funding becomes available. Funded positions will be posted here when available. Applications for Fall 2027 are due no later than December 1st, 2026.
If you are interested in applying for a competitive external fellowship to support your research (such as NSF's GRFP or private foundation support), please email Dr. Fadum (jfadum[at]uga[dot].edu). Please include what fellowship(s) you plan to apply to, if you plan to complete a Masters (Ecology) or PhD (Ecology or Integrative Conservation and Ecology-ICON), a short statement on your research interests, your CV, and a writing sample.

Postdocs

Please note, unless allocated by an external fellowship, postdoctoral fellows are not eligible to receive relocation funds. UGA also does not, at present, allow remote postdoc positions.
